Welcome to Paragliding Guide
Paragliding Guide was started by Nicholas Craven in 2019. An avid paraglider for almost 20 years, Nicholas worked for two schools and as a professional guide before creating his own vision of guiding and coaching. His approach is rooted in safety, development, and helping pilots grow with confidence. Nicholas holds qualifications from both the BHPA and the DHV.
Our team includes highly experienced coaches and instructors — and we all share one thing: a passion for flying and having fun. Whether it’s BHPA Club Coaches or DHV-qualified instructors, our backgrounds vary but our mission is the same: to help you fly better and safer.
BHPA Development School
We run coaching weeks in Spain, Portugal, and the Alps. Winter in southern Spain, summer in central Europe. We focus on small groups and 1-on-1 coaching to boost your skills and confidence — whether it’s big XCs or barefoot soaring on a dune.
We’re a multilingual team (English, German, Spanish — and French on request), guiding you from BHPA Pilot Rating to DHV B License.
