EP Paragliding Course Price: €1350

This course will take you from absolute beginner to flying your paraglider solo (under instructor supervision). The course is mainly practical with some theoretical elements.

You will fly a glider solo several times, taking-off and landing independently. You’ll also learn some basic flying manoeuvres, a basic understanding of equipment and how to control your glider. A great introduction to flying weather and be well on the way to becoming a fully independent pilot. Once your EP is completed you will be able to practice Ground Handling independently

At the end of this course you will have achieved your BHPA Elementary Pilot Rating – Equivalent to IPPI 2

CP Paragliding Course Price: €1350

After completing your EP this course will take you from absolute beginner to flying your paraglider solo. The course is mainly practical with some theoretical elements.

You will learn to fly a glider solo whilst flying with other pilots, improve your taking-off and landing technique. You’ll also practice more advances flying and safety manoeuvres, a strong understanding of equipment and how to control your glider. You will gain a much more indepth understanding of flying weather. You will also be an a fully independent pilot, able to fly in the Club environment.

At the end of this course you will have achieved your BHPA Club Pilot Rating – Equivalent to IPPI 3

Combined EP & CP Price: €2400

This course will take you from absolute beginner to flying your paraglider solo. The course is mainly practical with some theoretical elements.

This is a two week residential course.

At the end of this course you will have achieved your BHPA Club Pilot Rating Equivalent to IPPI 3 (see above).

I could tell that Nick has a lot of experience and that safety was his number one priority. The views from the flight were spectacular, and I had the biggest adrenaline rush I've had in years. Before going I was feeling very nervous but as soon as I met them my nerves disappeared. By the end of the week I had done my longest flight ever and feeling way more confident in the air. He quickly noticed our slight skepticism about the conditions that day and, unlike the typical experiences women may encounter in paragliding, he tactfully explained the takeoff site, flying area, landing approach, and weather peculiarities with great empathy, making us feel confident to take off.

From that day on, we happily spent the rest of our time with him, immensely grateful for the incredible experiences we could have in Algodonales, despite not even getting to fly at the „main“ mountain. We will definitely come back and will surely visit Nick and his fantastic team again!

Very personal experience with a massive focus on my skill level and experience, even though at the time mine was not much.
Loads of fantastic theoretical discussions and great support for those tentative launches.
Nick is amazing at molding around the learning styles of his pilots and makes it all extra fun with a solid sense of humor.
