Guided Hiking in Grazalema
Through HikingGuide.es, we have qualified hiking guides available to lead walks in the Sierra de Grazalema. Routes can be chosen around the weather, the group’s fitness and the time available.

A windy or unsuitable flying day does not have to become a wasted day.
We have plenty of ways to help the group enjoy Andalucía when the weather is not suitable for paragliding. From e-bike rides and guided hikes to white-village tours, horse riding and city visits, we can turn a non-flying day into another memorable part of your trip.
Flying always remains the priority. We choose alternative activities only when the conditions, timing and wishes of the group make them appropriate.
Our sister company AlgoBike gives us direct access to quality electric mountain bikes.
HikingGuide.es can arrange guided walks in the Sierra de Grazalema.
We are happy to organise and take the group on local tours and activities.
Short morning rides and local activities can sometimes fit around a later flying window.
The forecast changes. The holiday continues.
Nobody books a paragliding holiday hoping for a non-flying day, but Andalucía gives us an excellent range of alternatives when one arrives.
We know the area, we have our own local businesses and we have already done these trips with our guests. We can help the group choose something appropriate rather than leaving everybody to search for an idea at the last minute.
The group can stay together, enjoy a proper day out and return with another good story—even when the wings remain packed.
Exclusive access through AlgoBike
We are proud to be the only paragliding company in Algodonales able to offer its clients e-bikes directly through its own sister company, AlgoBike.
Electric mountain bikes are an ideal answer to a windy day. They make the hills and tracks around Algodonales accessible to a wide range of fitness levels, while still giving you a proper outdoor adventure through the olive groves, white villages and mountain scenery.
We can help arrange a relaxed local ride, a longer route or a group day out. Because the bikes are based locally, the option is much easier to organise than searching for a separate rental company after the flying forecast changes.
Tell us in advance if e-biking particularly appeals to you. That gives us the best chance of reserving the correct bike size and planning a route suitable for the group.
Not only for non-flying days
The e-bikes do not have to be saved for a completely blown-out day.
When the flying window is expected later, clients may be able to get out for a short morning ride before meeting the group for the weather briefing and departure to launch. It is a great way to explore locally, stretch the legs and still keep the main part of the day available for flying.
The exact plan must remain flexible. We will consider the weather, briefing time, transport, bike availability and how demanding the chosen route is before confirming that it fits safely around the flying day.
Flying plans can change quickly, so any pre-flying ride is agreed with the team rather than treated as a fixed timetable.
More ways to explore
E-bikes are our strongest and most flexible option, but they are far from the only possibility. We can help organise a day that matches the weather, the group and how active everybody wants to be.

Explore the pueblos blancos surrounding Algodonales. Depending on the day, we can visit places such as Zahara de la Sierra, Grazalema, Setenil de las Bodegas or Olvera, with time for viewpoints, food and a wander through the old streets.
A guided horse ride is another way to enjoy the Andalusian landscape. We can help enquire about local availability and find an option appropriate to the riders’ experience.
Not every alternative day needs to be energetic. Sometimes the right answer is a scenic drive, a good lunch, a village walk and time together. We are happy to make a relaxed plan for the group.
When the forecast gives us time
For a full non-flying day—or as an addition before or after your flying week—the great cities of Andalucía are within reach. The most suitable choice depends on timing, transport and what the group wants to see.
Historic streets, tapas, the cathedral and Plaza de España.
The Albaicín, mountain views and one of Spain’s great historic cities.
A lively old centre, museums, harbour and Mediterranean coast.
Atlantic light, seafood, beaches and a compact historic centre.

Weather-led and flexible
We do not abandon the flying forecast too early. The team first considers whether another launch, a later window or a different local site remains sensible. When flying is genuinely unlikely or unsuitable, we discuss the alternatives with the group.
We look at wind, cloud, rain, site options and whether a later flying window may develop.
We consider energy levels, interests, bike sizes, walking ability, availability and how far people want to travel.
We organise the option that best suits the actual day rather than forcing a pre-written itinerary.
Alternative activities are subject to weather, availability, staffing, transport and any third-party charges. We will always explain the practical options before the group commits.
Bring more than your flying boots
Mention e-biking, hiking, horse riding or city visits when you book. We cannot control the weather, but knowing your interests in advance helps us prepare better alternatives and reserve equipment when necessary.
Flying remains the main event. Andalucía gives us plenty to enjoy when the sky has other plans.
