If you have questions about Learning to Paraglide then please have a look at our

Below are some FAQs related to general trips with Paragliding Guide.

If you have any further questions please don’t hesitate to send us a message and we will help in any way we can.

What to expect from a trip with Paragliding Guide?

We take the hassle out of your flying holiday and help you make the most of the conditions to achieve great flying days. Comfortable accommodation, all your flying logistics arranged, local knowledge, pilot development and plenty to do in between great flying.

We usually meet for breakfast and assess the weather for the day and then head out to the most optimum site for the day’s flying. We fly until the conditions allow it or it gets dark, usually the latter. We stop for lunch and breaks in the day but our days are long (and fun).

XC Guiding in Algodonales

Algodonales is a small village nestled on the side of a mountain in Andalucia, southern Spain. Famous for the flying conditions, Andalucia is the perfect playground for XC and soaring with the vultures. While much of Europe is unflyable, the flying conditions here are usually stable year-round. Spring is particularly good for thermals and beginner XC coaching.

What flying sites do we use?

Main flying sites include:
• Levante (SE & SW takeoffs from Lijar)
• Poniente (W & NW takeoffs from Lijar)
• El Bosque
• Montellano
• Mataslascanas
• Teba
Other sites are available depending on the weather.

What kind of coaching is available?

Coaching is available for post-CP pilots or those returning to flying. We tailor our coaching to your level and goals. Skills development includes:
• Equipment & Instruments
• Weather Forecasting
• Ground Handling
• Active Flying in Thermic Conditions
• XC Planning
• Daily Debriefs
