For the below document and information the words postage and shipping will be used interchangeably but by our definition are equal.

Calculating Shipping costs

The Website is set up to automatically apply the correct shipping costs to your order when you enter your delivery address.

Expected Shipping time

Any products held currently in stock will be shipped the same business day for all orders made before 11am or the next working day for all orders made after 11am and before close of business (6pm GMT). All orders that require ordering from the suppliers will be posted under the same conditions. Our suppliers are prompt and professional.

Wings take on average 10 working days to arrive with the customer. For Brands such as Gin, U-Turn, Advance, Ozone, BGD and Nova expect order to be completed in less time as the suppliers are usually well stocked. Less popular brands or Higher rated Wings, or specialist wings such as light weight tandems often take a little longer to arrive.

Please contact us regarding delivery times if you have an urgent or time sensitive purchase and we can give you a realistic time scale. We endeavour to deliver orders promptly and safely but we are however at the mercy of the delivery agents.

UK, European and International Couriers

We use Royal Mail for UK based deliveries and UPS for European & International shipments.

Billing Address & Delivery Address

Please note in some cases we cannot, and reserve the right not to, deliver to addresses that differ from the Billing Address. In many cases Fraud Prevention and Detection procedures carried out by the banks can halt, delay or cancel payments. To prevent this from affecting our business no order is posted or made available for collection until the payment has cleared or is guaranteed in our designated bank account.

Most of our order deliveries are made using a signed-for service. This ensures a swifter, more reliable service to you, and we have proof that they have been delivered. Please ensure that someone will be present at the shipping address you specified to receive your parcel when it arrives. We cannot control the times at which deliveries will be made to the shipping address you specified. This is down to the postal or courier service making the delivery, which is totally outside of our control.

Shipping Costs

All shipping is calculated by the weight of the package and where it is going, therefore cannot be confirmed until you have completed the delivery details. Please ensure you enter the correct delivery details. Paragliding Guide Limited accepts no responsibility for shipments or deliveries that have been lost or delivered to an address due to incorrect details being entered.

Packaging & Logos

We recycle a lot of our packaging and therefore your order may arrived in a used box. All the packaging is clean and checked prior to use. Please note this is for environmental reasons, plus it saves money on unnecessary packaging. This may include logos from other brands, the Paragliding Guide Brand or even other packaging brands. We take no responsibility or accept any liability for any costs incurred, damage, divorces or other liabilities as a result of the packaging used.

If you require unbranded, new, packaging please confirm this when making your order.

VAT & Import Duties

All prices on our website include UK Value Added Tax (VAT) as standard if viewing in GBP or purchasing in the UK. If you are viewing the rpices in Euros then you are buying from our European shop and therefore the EU Tax is included in that price.

For orders sent outside the UK or EU VAT Territory, VAT is not applicable. The customer may however be required to pay any import duties and sales taxes which may be levied once the shipment reaches their country.

Please note that after the 1st of January 2021 these terms will be updated and it is a legal requirement that we declare the full value of the goods on all items, sold and delivered, both to the UK and within the European Union. (The prices then displayed may or may not include the above mentioned Tax.)

Lost Items or Non-Delivery

If your items have not arrived within 14 days of placing your order you must contact us immediately and we will look into the matter. We endeavour to provide tracking information with all our purchases but this can sometimes be difficult. If we have not provided you with tracking details with 48hours of placing an order please contact us and request your tracking number. We also monitor orders sent out and try our best to ensure that items are received promptly and safely.

Countries We Ship To

We ship to many countries including UK, Europe, and many more countries. If you country is not listed then please contact us for specific shipping arrangements and costs.
