For the purposes of this document, the terms postage and shipping are used interchangeably and have the same meaning.


1. Shipping Cost Calculation

Shipping costs are calculated automatically by our website based on:

  • The weight and dimensions of the items ordered

  • The destination country and delivery address

The final shipping cost is displayed at checkout once you enter your delivery details.


2. Order Processing & Dispatch Times

In-stock Items

  • Orders placed before 11:00 (local business time) are normally dispatched the same business day

  • Orders placed after this time are dispatched the next business day

Supplier-Ordered Items

Items that must be ordered from suppliers are dispatched under the same conditions once received by us. Our suppliers are generally prompt and reliable, but lead times may vary.

Paragliders & Specialist Equipment

  • Most wings arrive with customers within approximately 10 working days

  • Popular brands (e.g. Gin, U-Turn, Advance, Ozone, BGD, Nova) are often delivered sooner due to regular stock availability

  • Less common models, higher-rated wings, or specialist equipment (such as lightweight tandems) may require additional time

If you have a time-sensitive or urgent order, please contact us before purchasing and we will provide a realistic delivery estimate.

While we endeavour to dispatch orders promptly, delivery times are ultimately dependent on courier services and are outside our direct control.


3. Couriers & Delivery Services

We use reputable courier and postal services depending on destination, including:

  • National postal services

  • International courier companies (e.g. UPS or equivalent)

Most deliveries are sent using a tracked and signed-for service.


4. Billing Address & Delivery Address

In some cases, we may be unable to ship to a delivery address that differs from the billing address.

This is due to fraud prevention and payment security procedures. To protect both parties:

  • Orders are not dispatched until payment has cleared or is guaranteed in our designated bank account

  • We reserve the right to request additional verification or cancel an order if discrepancies arise


5. Delivery Responsibility

Please ensure that:

  • The delivery address is correct and complete

  • Someone is available to receive the delivery if a signature is required

Delivery times and delivery windows are determined by the courier service and cannot be guaranteed by Paragliding Guide S.L.

We accept no responsibility for delays caused by courier services.


6. Shipping Costs & Address Accuracy

Shipping costs depend on package weight and destination and cannot be confirmed until checkout is completed.

Paragliding Guide S.L. accepts no responsibility for:

  • Delays

  • Losses

  • Misdelivery

resulting from incorrect or incomplete delivery details entered by the customer.


7. Packaging & Sustainability

We reuse clean, inspected packaging whenever possible as part of our environmental commitment.

As a result:

  • Your order may arrive in a reused box

  • Packaging may display branding from Paragliding Guide, manufacturers, or third parties

If you require new or unbranded packaging, please notify us at the time of ordering. Additional costs may apply.


8. VAT, Taxes & Import Duties

EU & Domestic Orders

  • Prices displayed include applicable VAT when required by law

  • VAT treatment depends on your location and the store version used at checkout

Non-EU Orders

  • VAT is not charged where legally applicable

  • Customers are responsible for any import duties, customs fees, or local taxes levied by their country

We are legally required to declare the full value of goods on all shipments.


9. Lost, Delayed, or Missing Items

If your order has not arrived within 14 days of dispatch, please contact us immediately so we can investigate.

Where available, tracking information is provided. If you have not received tracking details within 48 hours of dispatch, please contact us to request them.


10. Shipping Destinations

We ship to many destinations within Europe and internationally.

If your country is not listed at checkout, please contact us and we will advise on availability and shipping costs.
