1. Scope and Application

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all bookings, services, holidays, coaching programmes, accommodation, transport, and related services provided by Paragliding Guide S.L.

This policy should be read in conjunction with:

  • The Terms & Conditions

  • The Acknowledgement of Risk


2. Weather-Dependent Activity (No-Fly Days)

Paragliding is a weather-dependent activity. By booking a paragliding holiday or service in advance, clients expressly acknowledge and accept that:

  • Weather conditions cannot be controlled or guaranteed

  • Some or all flying days may be unsuitable due to safety considerations

  • Forecasts are inherently uncertain and subject to change

No Refunds for Weather-Related No-Fly Days

Accordingly:

  • No refunds, partial refunds, or compensation are provided for days on which flying does not take place due to weather or safety-related decisions

  • This includes situations where:

    • No flying occurs on some or all days

    • Flying is limited, delayed, or cancelled

    • Conservative safety decisions are taken

The inability to fly due to weather does not constitute non-performance of services.


3. Client-Initiated Cancellations

If a client cancels a booking, the following terms apply unless otherwise stated in writing.

Cancellation Fees

  • More than 30 days before start date
    – Refund of amounts paid, minus a reasonable administrative fee

  • 30 days or fewer before start date
    – No refund

  • No-show or early departure
    – No refund

These terms reflect the advance costs, accommodation commitments, and limited availability inherent in paragliding holidays.


4. Operator-Initiated Cancellations

Paragliding Guide S.L. reserves the right to cancel a booking or service in exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Force majeure events

  • Serious safety concerns

  • Legal or regulatory restrictions

  • Unforeseen operational issues

In such cases, Paragliding Guide S.L. will offer, where reasonable:

  • A refund of unused services or

  • An alternative date or

  • A credit toward a future booking

No further compensation is payable beyond the amounts paid, except where required by law.


5. Early Termination Due to Client Behaviour or Safety

Paragliding Guide S.L. reserves the right to terminate a client’s participation without refund if:

  • The client behaves unsafely

  • The client disregards safety briefings

  • The client acts irresponsibly or disruptively

  • The client is deemed unfit to participate

Safety decisions are final and non-negotiable.


6. Illness, Injury, or Personal Circumstances

No refunds are provided for:

  • Illness or injury

  • Missed days

  • Travel disruption

  • Personal circumstances

Clients are strongly advised to hold appropriate travel insurance that covers these situations.


7. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy affects statutory consumer rights under Spanish or European Union law that cannot be excluded or limited.

Where mandatory consumer protections apply, Paragliding Guide S.L. will comply with applicable legal obligations.


8. Policy Updates

Paragliding Guide S.L. reserves the right to update this Cancellation & Refund Policy. The version in force at the time of booking shall apply.


9. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of Spain and subject to applicable EU consumer legislation.
