Terms and Conditions:
1. Company Information
Paragliding Guide S.L. is a legally registered company operating in Spain and the European Union.

Recognised and acknowledged as a BHPA school

Fully insured and qualified to provide the services offered
These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings, services, activities, holidays, coaching programmes, and related services provided by Paragliding Guide S.L.
2. Scope of Services
Paragliding Guide S.L. provides:

Coaching and guidance for qualified paragliding pilots only
-
Site briefings, weather discussions, and logistical coordination
-
Transport to flying sites where applicable
-
Accommodation where included in a booking
-
Paragliding-related holidays and coaching experiences
Paragliding Guide S.L. does not provide tandem flights or pilot-in-command services unless explicitly stated in writing.
3. Pilot Qualification Requirement
All clients must:

Hold a valid paragliding qualification or rating appropriate for the activities undertaken
-
Be competent to act as pilot in command
-
Be responsible for their own flight decisions at all times
Paragliding Guide S.L. reserves the right to refuse participation if a client’s skill level, experience, or conduct is deemed incompatible with safety.
4. Pilot Responsibility and Decision-Making
Clients acknowledge that:

They retain full responsibility for all flight-related decisions
-
Paragliding Guide S.L. acts solely as a coach, guide, and logistical provider
-
Any advice, briefings, or discussions are informational only
-
The final decision to fly or not fly always rests with the pilot
Paragliding Guide S.L. accepts no liability for a client’s flying, decision-making, or actions as pilot in command.
5. Equipment Responsibility
Clients are solely responsible for:

The condition, suitability, and airworthiness of their equipment
-
Correct setup, packing, and use of all paragliding equipment
Paragliding Guide S.L. accepts no liability for:
-
Equipment failure
-
Damage, loss, or theft of equipment
-
Wear and tear during the course of a trip
6. Weather Dependency
Clients acknowledge that:

Paragliding is a weather-dependent activity
-
Weather conditions cannot be controlled or guaranteed
-
Forecasts are inherently uncertain
By booking in advance, clients accept the risk that:

Some or all flying days may be unsuitable
-
Flying may be limited or cancelled for safety reasons
The inability to fly due to weather or safety considerations does not constitute non-performance of services.
(Refunds and cancellations related to weather are addressed separately in the Cancellation Policy.)
7. Insurance Requirement
All clients must hold valid insurance that explicitly covers:

Paragliding as a declared activity
-
Emergency medical treatment
-
Search and rescue
-
Medical evacuation and repatriation
General travel insurance that excludes paragliding is insufficient.
Paragliding Guide S.L. may request proof of insurance and reserves the right to refuse participation if adequate cover is not held.
8. Transport and Accommodation
Where transport and accommodation are provided:

Transport is offered as a logistical service only

Accommodation is shared unless otherwise agreed
-
Clients remain responsible for their own safety, conduct, and belongings
Paragliding Guide S.L. accepts no responsibility for personal property or non-flying-related incidents unless required by law.
9. Acknowledgement of Risk
Participation in all activities is subject to acceptance of the Acknowledgement of Risk, which forms an integral part of these Terms and Conditions.
By booking or participating, clients confirm that they have read, understood, and accepted that document.
10. Media, Images, and Social Groups
As part of participation, clients may be added to:

WhatsApp groups
-
Social media groups or messaging channels
These groups are used for communication, coordination, and community interaction.
By participating in these groups, clients acknowledge and agree that:

Images, videos, and content shared within these groups may be used by Paragliding Guide S.L. for marketing, promotional, and commercial purposes
-
Such usage may include websites, social media, advertising, and printed materials
-
No compensation is due for such usage
Clients who do not wish to participate or grant such rights must opt out, either by declining group participation or notifying Paragliding Guide S.L. in writing.
11. Consumer Rights and Sales
Paragliding Guide S.L. sells services and products in accordance with European consumer protection legislation.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects statutory consumer rights that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
Specific terms relating to refunds, cancellations, and returns are addressed in separate policies.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Spanish and EU law:

Participation is entirely at the client’s own risk

Paragliding Guide S.L. is not liable for:

Personal injury or death arising from paragliding activities
-
Client decision-making as pilot in command
-
Loss or damage to equipment or personal property
-
Weather-related cancellations or limitations
-
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct where prohibited by law.
13. Conduct and Behaviour
Clients are expected to:

Act responsibly and safely
-
Follow reasonable safety guidelines and briefings
-
Respect other clients, staff, and local communities
Paragliding Guide S.L. reserves the right to terminate participation without refund in cases of unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behaviour.
14. Amendments
Paragliding Guide S.L. reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of booking shall apply.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Spain.
Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights under EU law.
